We are delighted to announce that Professor Andrew Mayes will be our speaker on Saturday 9th April in the St Matthias parish centre, Killiney Ballybrack.  Morning begins at 10.30 with registration and coffee.  Professor Mayes will be speaking on the roles of identity and ideology in historical experience with special reference to the Old Testament.  This promises to be an interesting and thought provoking morning which will have all sorts of implications for how we read Scripture today and for our own self-understanding as Christians.  Cost €10 includes coffee.  To book and/or for further details please contact either William Olhausen ( or Ginnie Kennerley (
